On September 18 2016, Sam Quinn, a University of Sydney law student and Sydney University Football Club player, will run the Blackmores Sydney Marathon to raise funds for The LBW Trust.
When asked about his initiative, Sam said “The opportunity to have an education is a right that many of us take for granted. Some, like the inspirational Kakenya Ntaiya have had to make incomparable sacrifices just to go to school.
"I have been inspired to run a marathon so that I can help give others an education. To use sport, something which has given me so much, as a way to open doors for young men and women in the developing world, would be incredible.”
