About CandleAid

Since 1995 CandleAid’s mission has been to enhance the quality of life for the poor and less fortunate in Sri Lanka. CandleAid addresses basic human needs such as education, health, food and community development.

Additionally, CandleAid supports community development projects to improve the lives of impoverished individuals and families.

Each initiative is thoroughly evaluated for viability, authenticity and suitability before being approved by the Board of Directors.

Programme heads, reporting to designated directors, collaborate with project assistants and a network of voluntary coordinators to implement these projects.
