About The LBW Trust’s Events
Cricket is the unifying thread at The LBW Trust, bringing together individuals, communities and corporations to support education for a better world.
From cricket carnivals and multicultural events to charity dinners, our events are at the heart of our vision of learning for a better world.
Each year The LBW Trust’s events expand our community, fostering connection and inspiration, while raising crucial funds for educational opportunities in developing countries and underfunded Australian country libraries.

Trek. Discover. Transform. Nepal 2026 Awaits
Join The LBW Trust in April 2026 for an unforgettable trek through Nepal and help raise vital funds to expand access to education.
Trek the breathtaking Annapurna trail with Inspired Adventures, connect with passionate change-makers, and raise vital funds to support access to education.
1. Raise Funds. Change Lives.
Every step you take helps fund access to education for students in developing communities through The LBW Trust. Not sure where to start? The Inspired Adventures team will guide your fundraising journey from start to finish.
2. Challenge Yourself.
Push your limits, explore breathtaking landscapes, and accomplish something unforgettable. This is your chance to create meaningful memories and prove what you’re capable of, together.
3. Connect with Purpose.
Join a team of passionate, like-minded change-makers committed to impact. Share the journey, the effort, and the inspiration while supporting education, step by step.
The Difference You’ll Make
As part of the trek, you’ll spend a day at Heartland Academy Nepal, an internationally supported, democratic school dedicated to non-violent, child-centred education. Heartland provides a safe and nurturing environment tailored to each student’s learning and developmental needs.
During your visit, you’ll witness firsthand how the funds you’ve helped raise are creating meaningful change. You’ll meet the students whose futures are being rewritten thanks to your support.
The funds raised go directly towards helping Heartland students complete their Plus 2 College qualifications. Many of these young people come from disadvantaged backgrounds, including Dalit communities, and have overcome significant obstacles such as years of disrupted education. For most, this will be their first experience of higher education, an achievement that can redefine what’s possible, not only for them but for their families.
Your contribution doesn’t just change one life, it has the power to shift the trajectory of entire communities for generations to come.
